Kyiv • UNN
Two brothers who had been living in Germany for several years decided to return to Ukraine illegally due to lack of work, crossing the Western Bug River in wetsuits.
A border patrol near the Ukrainian-Polish border found two men who, after several years of living in Germany and due to a lack of jobs, decided to illegally return home. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, UNN writes.
Border guards found two men near the Ukrainian-Polish border. They were brothers who were trying to get from Poland to Ukraine by swimming across the Western Bug River. During the detention, they were wearing wetsuits under their wet clothes.
The men had been living in Germany for several years, but due to lack of work, they decided to return to their homeland illegally. To do this, they carefully prepared, taking with them a supply of food and a wire-cutting tool to overcome possible obstacles.
The citizens were brought to administrative responsibility, the decision will be made by the court.
Recall
The State Border Guard Service does not report a sharp increase in illegal border crossing attempts despite the new mobilization law, but such attempts continue daily, especially on the borders with Moldova and Romania.
