The new team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is facing a powerful information attack and potential dirty media provocations, probably organized by former food suppliers to the Armed Forces, who are seeking to restore their monopoly on the food supply market of the Armed Forces.

Another powerful information attack, which is currently underway against the new team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the leadership of the State Logistics Operator, is likely to end in dirty media provocations against specific individuals. This information was obtained by UNN from its own sources.

In general, the scheme of this paid-for campaign is practically the same as the previous ones: so-called "experts" on all issues, most of whom had cooperated with pro-Russian forces before the full-scale invasion, publish posts on their social media pages, which are immediately replicated with loud headlines by a selected pool of sites and tg channels.

Traditionally, the target of the "destructive" attack is the catering system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

No one disputes the fact that reforms in this area are rather slow due to a number of objective and subjective reasons. Sometimes, the Ministry of Defense and the State Defense Department have to make unpopular decisions. After all, no one is immune from mistakes.

However, it is obvious to everyone that the main barrier to change and maximum transparency in the supply of food to the Armed Forces is the fierce resistance of several companies that once monopolized this market and believed they had done so forever.

For years, companies such as Trade Granit Invest, Active Company, Grand Consult, and related companies have been building schemes to use billions of hryvnias of budget funds to buy food for the Ukrainian army. Even numerous scandals involving inflated prices, the supply of low-quality products to military units, and, in fact, money laundering could not shake the position of these players for a long time.

"Dirty Campaign" Against the Ministry of Defense and the State Defense Department: What does a company with a dubious reputation trying to block food tenders for the Armed Forces have to do with itFebruary 15 2024, 09:14 AM • 473294 views

The new team of the Ministry of Defense began to fundamentally reform approaches to the organization of food for Ukrainian military personnel: the State Logistics Operator was created, the mechanism for delivering food to military units was changed, and the first purchases of certain types of food directly from manufacturers began.

All of this was the factor that united the once fierce competitors in the market of food supplies for the Armed Forces in their desire to return the old system, under which they felt like fish in water.

The problem for the former suppliers behind the media attacks on the MoD and the DOT is that the information they produce through their obedient mouthpieces has a short-lived effect because the distorted facts are easily refuted. Therefore, each subsequent attack is weaker than the previous one.

That's why, according to our sources, the above-mentioned customers decided to resort to outright mudslinging. Various fakes will be spread through anonymous tg channels, personally targeting key reformers in the Defense Ministry. They will immediately try to legalize them in the media with the emphasis that there is no such thing as "smoke without fire.

If it were just the usual commercial wars and redistribution of spheres of influence in some business segment, we could stock up on popcorn and watch it with delight.

However, information attacks and provocations against the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the context of a full-scale invasion and martial law are no longer about business, they are about national security, the country's defense capability and the combat capability of the Ukrainian army.

Our enemy will obviously benefit from the inspired scandal around the Defense Ministry. Ukrainian society is now very sensitive to everything that is happening around this structure and the Armed Forces.

And the sensitive topic of the Ukrainian army's nutrition is a great opportunity for the Russian IPSO to sow discord in Ukrainian society, lower the morale of our soldiers, and turn them against the command and leadership of our country.

So, the idea comes to mind that Russia will not just use the situation to its advantage - the scriptwriters of future provocations are most likely sitting in Moscow.

Therefore, the question arises for the former suppliers: do they realize that they are at least playing along with the enemy? Or is their cynicism so boundless that they are ready to contribute to Ukraine's defeat in order to feed the soldiers of the occupying army?

In any case, the situation has gone so far that it requires immediate intervention by the Security Service of Ukraine, otherwise it may soon be too late...
